Cry Me Tears To Swim

CRY ME TEARS TO SWIM

Cry me tears to swim
Warm and beguiling tears
Running in swish down
From the height of Salto Angel
Against the hard cliff splashed
And stimulating to take a dive
Down below with ice cube and silt.

Cry me tears that swiftly flows
As the efflux of Ereda
With tweedling sonorous drone
And her crystal clear surface
So endearingly to wade through
Wherein beneath lay a mush.

Cry me lovely tears of passion
Tears as deep as the Congo
That I might sink beneath
The depth of your bosom
And forever be drowned!
