Cry
If all of this was to go on
I'm sure every last piece would be gone
By the time it was too late
It would be beyond the point of hate
At times I wonder why we cry
Some say its just our way of saying goodbye
To the pain we all hold within
We lie with eyes, a smile and grin
Dare not let anyone know
Of the problems that trouble us so
Every encounter we make our greeting
And the smiles of which keep repeating
While screams of agony echo down the stone halls
No doors and no windows just miles of walls
Built to keep it all quiet in this prison cell
Till it grows hot like the fires of hell
It fills every inch of every room
Every breath of life it will consume
The only thing it ever fears
Are the smallest drops of salty tears
They put out the fires that blacken and scar
Chasing it all away so very far
From all we hold close to our heart
And those we love to cherish even when apart
When all is over, said and done
I hope for you I will be the one
The rest may leave you, but no not I
I'll hold you close, its ok to cry
