I have a crush on you
Infatuated, who knew
Don’t know why, but it’s true
Don’t know why I feel blue
Without you too,
But it’s no big deal

I am fantastic, what about you?
I am feeling epic — what’s new?
It’s the things you do, baby boo
Who knew I’d feel anxiety too

Crushed cuz I don’t think you’ll feel the same about me
Crushed cuz I won’t say or sing these words preciously
Crushed cuz I have doubts and hopes in my mind’s eye
Crushed cuz I have routes to choose and that, I can’t deny
Crushed cuz I have a crush on you
Will you feel the same way about me too?

This panic and sudden urge
To love you is brand new…
I feel so much — it’s a surge
Of energy I long to feel
