Crush 2-14-98

Have you ever had a crush?
It’s isn’t a dizzy happy feeling
Like when you close your eyes on the tire swing.

The very thought of you
An arrow shoots to my heart.
The very sight of you
And my heart leaps into my throat.

I don’t want to fall in love with you
Because I know my fantasy is a mere mirage.

That disease has struck my mind again
I’m impatient for cupid to leave me alone.
