Crumpled Thoughts

Tucked away underneath my pillow one simple slip of paper with wild words of love written that I could not loose nor taper juxtapositions, each other's opposite attracts but when attacked the writer goes in hiding the coward in me has been smacked Morning arrives to find a broken soldier at the cusp of poetry I write down the truth only the truth and then I hide my cutlery Deep down I wanted you to find it, with you love is never free I left you for a life, uncrumpling the note I signed it , " Its me!" Wow, that is a fantastic poem. I feel pain and quiet rage. Then relief. Beautifully written :)

Dear Jan, I think many of us can relate to this one dear. As writers sometimes we have thin skin, but we surprise others and ourselves when things come to push and shove. I think we should be proud of who we are, and never settle for second best. Much love xo

Dear friend, I'm truly honored with your comment. The fact that you see me through glass makes my heart rejoice, and I love you for it. Stay strong, keep the lantern of your soul full of glimmer, because with light, nothing ever grows dimmer. Especially not friendships, xo
