Cruel Twist of Fate

Brittany Murphy was this woman's name.
She had talent, beauty, fortune and fame.
She provided the voice of Luanne Platter on King of the Hill.
When people watched her perform, she gave all of us thrills.

I was shocked when she died on the 20th of December.
She was a great actress who everybody will remember.
She starred in many movies that included Just Married and Freeway.
When she died, millions of people were devastated on that awful day.

In 1991 she starred on an episode of Murphy Brown.
Hollywood won't be as good now that she's no longer around.
She entertained me and she entertained you.
It was a cruel twist of fate to die at thirty-two.

Joanna Smith February 18, 2010 at 7:24 AM that was a cruel twist of fate! she was also in clueless, which my sister and i watched as preteens. she had a wonderful smile one that just radiated. this is a great tribute to a great girl. =)jo p.s. that was so sad that they put the 911 tape of her mother out there!
