Crown Me a Heartache

Crown me a heartache
The uneasy kind
I gave you my all
But you paid it no mind

I can't stop these feelings
I'm feeling inside
I've been crowned with a heartache
The unending kind

I've paid for transgressions
I've made in my past
With numbness and loss
I can never get back

Goodbyes never hurt
Like it does right now
I'm the king of all fools
Or so I've been crowned

Just crown me a heartache
What now will hold true
From the two we once we're
There's now you and this fool
