Crossing the Rivers of Sins
I crossed the black waters separating heaven and hell,
I heard its mighty currents sing out of tune,
Far away I see the crow and the raven,
Singing a lonely music of the desert dune.
What is this place I have crossed?
What lies ahead for me?
Is this the right track or am I lost?
Is this the track where I should be?
I stand here thinking of the past when I had the choice;
A choice I only played and took for granted,
Regret then struck me like an unheard voice
Saying 'Now face this curse no one ever wanted.'
