Crimson Rain

"In memory of someone who I once loved" The old papers between my fingers. The sweet fragrance of rain that lingers. On that rainy day I chose the book Filled with words of kings and crooks. Down came crashing down the shores, The walls of the Kingdom that never scores. Wars fought but never one Was as victorious or as fun. Lays atop this bloody mound, Soldiers that fought, And found With their spirits at perilous fate. Their names not the former but the late.
