Crikey

Crikey

The fires are burning out of control
All hands on the pumps
Let’s Rock and Roll
Crikey was the Fireman’s name
And putting out fires was his game
He was here, there and everywhere
Crikey was a cobber, a friend and
Most of all, a Volunteer
From Sun-up to Sunset, he was never late
And always greeted you with a smile
And a “Gidday Mate”
Crikey would like to thank you all for your support
Special thanks to Nick Kyrgios and his sport
New Zealand sends our thoughts and prayers
To Crikey and all the other Volunteers

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed
