Cricket's Song

Refrain of dreams, I gift to you. My hum lulls in rhythms deep; Night chant lifts to heavenly heights coupled with starry sky’s plume. My faithful promise kept from sight 'til fall of moon's sleepy eyes. By Rhonda Johnson-Saunders, 1/15/15 for Nette's Night Creatures Contest, (Cricket #6)

So glad this placed. I don't know what number you got , just see the congrats here and have run out of time to make major comments to poems tonight. Anyway, thanks for letting me know my one poem was wrong in stanza one. I figured out what I did wrong. I somehow confused myself and used "spring" in place of "stream" in that one line where I messed up. I hope I got it right now!!

These must be more melodic crickets than the ones in my back yard. Beautifully written, Rhonda, congrats.
