Crescent
CRESCENT
I think of your downy curls
On nights like these,
Enveloped in rich darkness and agony.
The nights when the moon howls, and the wolves cower in silence,
In reminiscences of our tantalizing love!
The black abyss has swallowed the silver maiden today,
And has strangled her cries of love and death!
But her crescent is bursting with silver radiance!
Like the fierce Maenad, is she dancing her reckless dance!
Shooting silver fire and fiendish love!
While you and I stare on, lost and estranged,
Soaking in the silver tears of the Crying Crescent.
