Notes About The Poem

Nonet contest- Sponsored by Tania Kitchin

Creepy Crawlers

There are thousands of these everywhere
Little creatures roaming around
They fly, crawl and also swim
Those unwelcomed insects
Are also known as
Creepy crawlers
Truth be told
I hate
Bugs

Charlie, congratulations on your winning placement with your wonderful poem. Most bugs I hate as well except bees, dragonflies and butterflies.

And yet the world that could go on without humans, couldn't without bugs. Were you in the world when Creeper Crawlers referred to a 'toy' that allowed children to make insects? I got one for Xmas once. Your poem is most cute; I especially dislike the bugs that come in my home w/o paying rent, now that I'm in Florida, I also have lizards, the other night on a lamp switch. DON'T LIKE REPTILEs, not a one. Enjoyed poetic crawling down in your poem. Can't believe Rob likes rodents, he's the one?
