Creep In Me

CREEP IN ME By: McCandless Expectations from above, Unclear and uncertain The misdirection’s in my blood and I’m not a golden standard. So, isolate the creep in me Trap him there it’s hard to breathe. Asphyxiate his petty needs while I watch the hate look back at me. Eyes of a broken melody, it’s half the man it used to be. Stuck in constant failure, my monster pulls at me. It craves me, it plays me, I’m sure of one thing. It hates to love me.. It hates to love me.. While I approach this constant failure It needs to love me.

Such a painful poem. It's as if a constant debate is raging internally. If so, I can relate to that, and recognise it.
