Credentials Are Essential

The only interest I have in politicians, Is how accomplished they are, Some country's definitions, Fall short of this by far. They vote for future presidents, For their charisma and charm Without looking for evidence That lack of government knowledge Could cause world wars and harm. Once voted into office, All management will go askew Because they are wet behind the ears With no idea of what they are supposed to do. What is their reason for applying for this position? Ego and greed is a dangerous addition; To add to this sad state of affairs, Who cares? Nobody, it seems, The whole world is in a mess, Because the powers that be won't address The fact that is essential To employ people with the credentials.
