Creatures of Light

Human beings possess a soul,

that belief makes us whole.

Conscious, sentient beings with feelings

our intelligence shatters glass ceilings.

Nature cultivates our growing curiosity,

while emotions fuel our grandiosity.

We are creatures of light

that sleep away the night.

As fledgling spirits in flight

we understand wrong and right.
