Creative People Play
creative people have a possibility for every basket and box of stuff
they keep ribbons, bows, buttons, recipes, and chimneys that huff
you never know when I will need that, they think every time they see
something new, shiny, dazzling, or informative, letters A to Zee.
when will you ever use that? The non-imaginative ask in a snarly way.
actually, creative people are able to use this object in a form of play.
they have a brain that is always on, keeps them perpetually on their toes.
what they can and cannot use, is not known even to them I suppose.
they get an idea and run with it, and amaze others in their wake
creative people’s possibility thinking is enormous, for goodness sake
they construct things that are gorgeous, beautiful, and important too.
if you are lucky enough to meet one, you can see what they can do.
