Creation

I was born from silence Beset compliance I grew from violence A whispered defiance No more betrayal No more assumption Our fear has failed But in destruction Take a look at what you must become The search for satisfaction is also loading the gun Another look at what we have all done Birthing destruction was our saviour’s son The devil will lie Our god must stand by The light will save us The sacrifices of the black sky Fear breeds deterrence But the truth breathes recurrence And whilst our world spins Destruction will break the silence One more look at what we try to forget Burying pain by torturing the sunset When we look before we are laid to rest We will see that creation is what we all detest
