Crazy Gods

The concept of God is one very controversial one
People all over the world believe in some theory ever since they have been born
Some, seeing not any meaning in life
Care not to be made of any sort of faith

I do believe in my religion
Though I do know not if others would claim that it is the right one
Still, I do blindly believe in it
For, of its being, have I once been given a treat

Yet, seeing whatever does go on in this world
I would tend to say that the Gods must be crazy
What would you make of a life that does thrive to become so bold
Only to end in ways being laden with mystery

What would you say about the progress being made in technology
And at the same time, the decline in the morals of the society
What would you say about the fact that humans are bringing forth destruction
Hoping still to find in tomorrow, some sort of divine resurrection

What would you say of the fact that the Gods do watch over us
Yet, they do keep letting us making our fuss
All the while, keeping silent
Letting us bath in a sea of torment

Pray, are the Gods crazy
Or are they merely acting with severity
Are we not fallen beings
Fallen from some other world, one so blissful and peaceful

Suffer we not here, the consequences of our acts
Is this world here not a prison
See you, like me, in anything, no accurate reason
Why, I wish the Gods would manifest and give us answers to our questions!
