There is an old lady with over a thousand cats. They are so cute they take your heart, forever playing about the house with a stuff mouse. She is known as the Crazy Cat Woman. In love with cats their close to her bosom, treats them like they were human. Everyone thinks she is Looney as a bat, but around her house, there isn’t a rat. All so spoiled and fat, they all have their own mats. She's given the cats the run of her home. They are never allowed out at night to roam. However, you can bet that they all dream of mice and rats. Her home doesn’t smell like a rose, to get close to it you have to hold your nose. When time to feed them, they all go into a feeding frenzy. With a loving smile and her gentle touch they all fight for her attention. All starving for affection, she brings such satisfaction, I have to mention. She sounds totally cats bats! I couldn't walk through the door as I'm allergic and i can't begin to imagine the smell - yeuk the tinned food makes me feel ill let alone the stench of litter trays lol:-) good luck in the contest:-) hugs Jan xx

I have had and still have true love for many special cats who shared/share my life, but that many - just looking at that many, had an ill-freak effect on me. Something about it is just wrong. And stinky. Good to know that she truly cares for them and loves them. I get one cat's name confused with my son's, I wonder how she does it! An enjoyable read - and obviously most thought-provoking to this reader! Blessings, Eve, not cats, Blessings ... CayCay

Very well done on your crazy cat lady poem. Some I have been reading are so wild, they make MY crazy lady look very tame by comparison (I have not posted it yet though)
