Cravings

Cravings cause our souls to lie
To become possessed by our possessions

    They drive us
    Restricting any peace

Reduce and simplify all things
Aligning them to our conditions

    They’re a robe, richly colored
    A garment for our minds

Enveloping our sense of reality
Unfeeling, cheap costume coverings

    Their very nature, deception
Pretending to be what we’re not

A self inflicted blindness
Blocking the reason for our lives

It's called greed, materialistic obsession. It's getting worse as we "progress." Glad to see you back. Vince
