Crannies of Tears and Years of Fears
the wonder of you radiates the wonder of me;
for time shan’t stand still when all is lost in nooks
and recesses of where my mind used to wander-
now melodrama of the night has been ceased,
and all who walk the road to “all-knowing” shall
be free from who they once were
instances of wrong doings and crannies of tears
swept under bridges to hide the revealing ripples-
like a petal falling off the nectar of my rose,
if only i could comprehend who i want to be...
roots too rotten and blades weeping, forgotten
(idiosyncrasies of torment fill each corner)
no feeling can erase what needs feeling,
no healing can chase what needs healing
abandoned by none…but me
i listen to the voice you speak of at night,
know the only thing you crave is my sin-
for my vanity bestows yet one more transgression;
as your lullaby is sung and my heart is hung-
i may be the one who knows not who God and man is…
