Cranky Jank

Jank is a crank today; her hair messed up locks.
Crabby with the tabby on the block; mixed up socks.
Stay out of her way; ego trippin' attitude.
Missed the bus on the way to work; moody and lewd.

Jank is a crank today; flopped down hard on the couch.
Ran out of sugar for coffee; mixed up emotional grouch.
Dropped her phone on the cement; ten short on rent.
Forgot to pay her car note; now her money is all spent.

Jank was a crank today; looked within for a lift-up.
Went out to pet the cat; pulled her socks up.
Took a long walk; and had a convo with her soul.
Sat on the bench on her route; apologized for being low.
