Cranberry Dreams

velvet dusk drips ruby light
where the bog hums soft and low
mist curls like whispered secrets
on waters dark and slow

berries gleam like fallen stars
floating where the nightwind sings
red as love and red as longing
red as fleeting, fragile things

feet sink deep in crimson pools
visions dance in tangled beams
a taste so tart it wakes the soul
lost inside my cranberry dreams

It's quite a vivid imagery. But I want to ask is in this poetess is describing her dream or a moment or maybe scenery is described?

Hmmm? I think women may understand this poem better than I. Though, I love the flow. Thanks for sharing.
