Cradle of Happiness
A soft toy of flesh and blood
With a cute chubby face and two twinkling eyes
A tiny bundle of world’s greatest treasure
With pink rosy lips, wherein all sweetness lies.
It’s laughter makes the whole world laugh
It’s crying amuses some
It won’t go to sleep peacefully
Until a sweet lullaby you hum.
With tiny hands it cries to clasp
Everything within its reach and bound
Throwing its tiny feet in air
Making it’s surrounding a playground.
Cradling it in her arms
A woman feels the greatest happiness of all
With quickness and concern
She responds to its every call.
It makes a woman complete and proud
It makes a family’s joy wild
It is God’s own form, for immortals
Who else; but a new born child.
