Cracks In the Facade

I first saw her face framed by Spanish moss
Beneath the oaks of Georgia -
Beauty beyond compare

Her golden hair crowned the deepest blue eyes
That stared beyond my presence -
Her lips frozen and cold

Fascinated I continued to stare
Her eyes at last met mine and
Her lips began to smile
