Cowboy Girls and Their Twirls

It is time for the game 
With the team the world knows the name 
This year New York State was invited to the feast
When the Bills were chosen as the sacrifice for the statement of peace. 
After devouring the skin everyone will sit around to see who will win 
This match should be a good one, right? 
If of course the two teams are not affected by the halftime tryptophan influenced bite 
As the quarters round down and it is time some will hit the town 
Those at home may be alone due to a social opportunity they blown 
Very thankful for the cheerleaders who were ever so sweeter.  
Silver and blue, enjoy their moves
During the final minutes when everyone needs to stay cool
What if they knock the other team out, one may shout? 
Not to worry check out the blonde named Teri 
International success could be seen, if you know what I mean. 
But then again if the afternoon bird puts the fan in la la land 
They may awake to see that one nice director’s take
Before turning up the heat during the one to two seconds that cannot be beat.  
Then it is the warm feeling of those doing the sideline wheeling. 
Even know you have a life with three kids and a wife 
Remember the poor soul who are dealing with being cold 
He is the one who doesn’t have the expensive car 
And cannot afford the important wines at the bar. 
So, he sits there not being able to use the phone while his holiday highlight was getting the skinless turkey bone 
“It’s not fair he says in a yell 
God did not give me the courage to walk up to her and tell”
“I should have told about our dinner spread 
And she was welcome to come here I should have said.” 
Since the boy did not open his mouth about taking the young girl out. 
His night was bleak and not sweet 
As the pigskin ritual came to an end 
The home team had a message to send 
And there were three pom poms looking straight in the boys eyes
Taking away all the pain that wasn’t there since he wasn’t listening to the girls’ lies
When all is said and done one has to make their own fun 
It will naturally come together, and she will be there to make the loner feel better. 
But for the parent on the couch, sitting around in a relaxed slouch. 
Do not complain if the tv takes a shot of some half-dressed talent swinging about. 
There may be a young one in need of some spark while sitting in the dark. 
And if for a second 
Can you please just let it go by saying heck it 
Maybe one day you will be all alone due to many hours on the phone. 
And maybe then you will see the point that beauty is natures’ most honest joint.
