Covid 19 - the Aftermath

Have you fallen victim to the Covid 19?
How many symptoms are still unseen?
Over and out but still concerned.
The mind plays tricks some now have learned.

A life altering event has come to pass.
Damaged lungs run out of gas.
A weakened heart and now we see.
Depression lurks across the sea.

Reach out for help you’re not alone.
Talk to your doctor pick up the phone.
Form a group step up and give.
Your life is worthy, you need to live.

Anxiety will play its horrid part.
Don’t let its fear rip you apart.
There is help out there for you to seek.
You’re not alone and you are not weak.

Get a sore throat, or a headache - my mind goes to the worst - Corona virus - think I have it I say to my husband, its your sinus problem he assures me. Lock down for us is not stressful. We sold a massive house, just in time, and moved to a cute cottage about a third in size of our last home, and made the garden a miniature copy of our huge garden. Hubby and I have breakfast outside every morning - but it has affected one of my dear friends badly! Great poem Mark, Hugs Jenn

I pray for your friend. I’m glad that you are well. I can’t wait till it’s warm enough here to have breakfast outside.

There is a lot of concern that people are struggling mentally with lockdown restrictions which is understandable. You're right though Mark, it's not a sign of weakness to seek help and folk should not hesitate to seek it if things are getting on top of them. Have a great weekend Tom

I suffered terribly after my heart attack. For three years I struggled bad until I talked to my doctor. One little prescription did miracles for me. It's still a struggle every day but nothing I can't deal with.
