Covid 19

We all had high hopes of what 2020 would bring But we didn't plan for the madness of COVID-19 The stores are empty, and everyone's in fear, trying not to catch a virus that's named after a beer. It started in China, in a place called Wuhan A man ate a bat, until it was gone. I don't think he realized what would come about That it would cause the world to be put in timeout. This virus's effect has gone near and far, Everything's closing, including the bars. The store shelves are bare, no toilet paper in sight People hoarding daily items, and preparing to fight. The world leaders decided to close all their borders to stop the spread , according to Drs orders. As frightening as all this madness may be We are being offered an great opportunity To spend time together, have fun and reconnect Taking the time together to make it the best time yet. Or it pull be seen as something bad And it'll end up the worst you've ever had The choice is yours, how your time will play out The two weeks the world will spend in timeout. Soon we'll be over this worldwide quarantine But I don't think we'll ever forget COVID-19 3/20/2020.

So true...we rung in the New Year, hopeful, penitent, expectant. The true colors shine — kindness and meanness.
