Covid 19
She came out of the east affecting the worlds largest regime
Soon becoming a giant beast as things aren’t always as they seem
Reaching from one nation to another from town to small town
And soon begins to smoother as Covid 19 bears down
As world governments now scurry, their citizens rattle about
Many filled with worry no longer consumed by any doubt
The news keeps coming as casualties continue to rise
It all became quite numbing before one could even realize
With every market affected every routine would now change
So even if you weren’t infected life still seemed a little strange
Society having since withdrew leaving only eerie silence outside
And the only thing left to do is to sit here and just try to hide
So here we all now wait covid 19 already roaming our street
Now in pondering our own fate as if in fact we could soon meet
Looking out my front door pondering the way things used to be
Who knew what she had in store was keeping us all from being free
