Covers Over Windows
With no compassion
Put covers over windows;
Now through cannot view.
After seeing news about windows
being covered up at Mira Lago.
An underpinning
Also an underpainting;
Picture was hidden.
One of the members of
Poetry Revisited that one
of her husband's was covered
up by another one.
Candy my life can
Both sweeten body and brain,
While we were eating.
Poet in charge of Poetry Soup
brought some chocolate kisses
with her for us to have.
Piece of my candy,
Up all your life did sweeten,
Until face broke out.
This is not the time
For a woman in White House;
Have been told by men.
This is the reason
That all the men gave to me;
A sexist remark.
