Covers

Warmth finds its rest in the hush of your keeping,
Stretching its limbs ‘neath our woven shelter,
Toes curling shy where the blanket loosens:
Soft in the shadow.
I gather nearer the heat you harbour,
Folding my breath into yours in silence,
Learning the shape of the dark between us:
Closer than speaking.
