Cover My Heart

in your love and compassion, i'll give more and more,
i give of my heart, no earthly possessions to store,
for as you say, Lord, the moths eat that away,
so in the end, in all those things what love could i gain?,
my heart pounds to see your love, though its been kicked and abused,
and it hasn't stopped me from sharing your love, even when i was bruised,
how strong is your love that i can see,
you protect my heart, Lord, you shelter me.
