Courtship of the Butterflies

Two flitting butterflies rising from the ground Up, up they go, twisting round and round Obviously he loves her, his courtship is his dance Two little butterflies on a carousel of romance I'll dance around you Bluebird I can do that too Perhaps I would look foolish But love compels me to I'd do all sorts of crazy things To get to see your smile Though you might shake your head at me And wonder all the while, "Is he for real? I never knew He had this side to him He's thorough and methodical But also does things on a whim" And I'd say back, "How right you are, You just wait and see If someday ever happens You won't be bored with me"
