Courting Old Age

Oh graceless, Old Age,

Your unattractive face the many despise

But your company they desperately seek

For

How else, could the magic of life enjoy

If they were not among those you pick?

A man who becomes old physically but becomes more and more young with good knowledge and experience having wisdom like you, why then good young people will not seek your company? Certainly they are nice and intelligent so want to know many things from you. Beautifully done my lovely friend. Clean 7+. Loved always,bl

Well, LL, in the Greek language "Old" means the "Privileged One", however we should not be proud for it but rather thankful for the gift our Lord has given us. Thank you my friend!

In Greek the word "Geros" means "Old" which means " The "Privileged One" A privilege life has granted him! Yes, as you say, I have expressed growing older wonderfully. This is because of experience, dear Judy! Thank you for your visit and lovely comment.
