Courage
Crafting another poem of lost love,
Running away from a destiny sent from above,
Still resenting what fully conquers my heart,
But still seek you even when we're far apart.
I see that time and distance could not end
My love for you that I thought would bend,
I see that the cruelty of fate has struck my soul,
I'm turning towards you now as my ultimate goal.
My heart cannot bear this anymore,
Each beat without you feels so sore,
I must muster the courage to pursue you,
Giving fate a victory that's long been overdue.
