Courage

C  an you imagine the courage it took,
O nce I decided to remain with that crook?
U tterly devoid of love and care.
R egretting my life with you I swear.
A ll focus instead on our beautiful daughters.
G etting them to adulthood was all that mattered. 
E normous rewards, my life far from tatters.
