C an you imagine the courage it took, O nce I decided to remain with that crook? U tterly devoid of love and care. R egretting my life with you I swear. A ll focus instead on our beautiful daughters. G etting them to adulthood was all that mattered. E normous rewards, my life far from tatters. 10/12/2016

I'm happy now too Eve. A lot of my poems revisit that time of my life. I just get the prompts at contest time. I find writing them now helps me heal even more. Thank you for your good wishes.

Hi Tim. I originally did one in free verse but decided to keep it short and sweet. I know you also are madly in love with your daughters. They make it all worthwhile for me. I'm sure you agree.
