Courage

Courage
Be the first step for all
Whether big or whether small
Cobble stone step or marble tile square
Courage is the first step in getting there

Without courage we are not
We simply cannot be
Courage is what makes up the fundamentals of you and me
Courage keeps us from falling apart
It is courage that mends a broken heart

Ideas would be stuck
Without the courage to share them
Courage is what keeps words flowing from this pen
Courage is providing self belief
It shall not cause an ounce of grief

You
Have the ability to stand your ground
With courage you shall not flinch at every sound
Whether it be big or whether it be small
Let courage be the first step for all.
