Courage

Twelve hours you care for,
 patients who are sick.
Hours of hard work,
never outside or open the door.

Devoted and kind,
every patient you meet.
Dedicated to healing,
those who are too weak.

Shift after shift,
tired eyes you do see.
Not just on the patient,
But you caring for me.

Courage to care.
To do the best that you can.
Even when one passes.
You are there to hold their hand.

After your shift is done.
Time to rest.
Care for yourself.
Most of all, have fun
