I see life as a book and each day another page,
and the farther we read we become quite sage.
If dinner could be on us and I write you a poem,
your Birthday this year wouldn’t be so norm.
We pray your day is painless and also carefree,
and especially today you find joy and glee.
So from two old “Okies” to our “Bestie” we send,
Happy Birthday Shirlene, our fabulous friend.
