Country Road

Long narrow path of dirt and gravel
When I need to clear my head
You are my way to travel

That warm summer air
That sweet smell of cedar
There is not better place, I swear

Miles and miles of road
Enough road to clear my mind
My secrets I have showed
When I drive that road to unwind

I have one hand on the wheel
And the other out the window
This road is all I wanna feel

Sadly I reach the end
Same time tomorrow
Spent with my only true friend

You are so wise in your verse. When I want to clear my head I jump in my pick up truck, roll down the windows and crank up the Van Halen.
