Counting Hours

28 hours
It took you that long to respond to my text
Took all of my power
Not to stalk through your pictures or text you again

A couple of hours
All the time that it took from the moment we met
A couple of drinks
All it took to imagine that you’re in my bed

Just over an hour
My heart skipped a beat because you called me pretty
Just a couple later
You were called away, you said maybe you’d miss me

28 hours
I waited to message you after you left
Only 28 hours
Don’t know how your already so stuck in my head
