Counted On Me

From the time you were born, you have always counted on me, because I was your mother,
and by your side is where I will always be. You were my new life that I was responsible for,
because no matter who thought that they needed me, you always needed me more. I tried
to do the best that I could, even when you passed away, by your casket is where I stood.
You counted on me whenever that you needed to be fed, and you always knew I was going
to be there everynight to put you to bed. You knew that I loved you so very much, you
always expected me to be there to be your healing touch. Now baby boy you are finally free,
but while you were here, you always counted on me.*
