Countdown Has Begun
Countdown has now begun
25 days before Christmas is here
Such enjoyable time together
It is a beautiful time of the year
The lights on the tree will soon be lit here
Decorated with homemade ornaments
By the kids, throughout the years
Red garland goes on, with a big star
Placed at the top, with tender care here
Cookies needed to be baked
Homemade fudge and other candy
I also need to be sure to make
Go to look out the frosted window
Can hear some carolers sing in the cold
They all have smiles on their face
They all have a heart of gold
Now I have hot chocolate to fix
Christmas shows are on tonight
Time to relax and enjoy the rest of the night
