Count To Ten and Fake It...

hold your breath... count to ten... just stay right here. i pray the taste of your kiss never disappears. giving way to the taste of tomorrow (so bitter)... my hands on your back show i'm not letting go... but you know... this fire that started in my toes travels slowly up to my mouth, igniting every inch of my skin this craving increases with every movement, every breath, i'm trembling at the thought of you... aching to know if you crave me too. and you said it was my love that you loved, but if it's too much to contain will my devotion be enough? just breathe... and we'll pretend i never came and this fire that burns inside i'll try to douse, with the water that reality set out. and i can not fake this, this pain that comes from patience. and you don't have to hold me, i don't have to stay. just tell me that you want to it'll be enough to help me save... this heart, thats burning down tonight. with my hands on your back i show i'm not letting go... but you know.
