Could you forget me?

Your heart will wander and that much is true, A law of life, a parting due. These playful moments, you'll outgrow, For someone new your fancy'll flow. But in his arms, with love's embrace, Will you recall, with lingering trace, The magic venom of my rhyme, These verses haunting after time? Your heart will wander - it's a fate's decree, First love gets gone like leaf that falls from tree. Your youthful joys will fade, I know, Another love your heart will sow. Yet in his touch, with passion's fire, Will embers glow in a sweet desire, For my intoxicating verse, That lingers still, like whispered curse?
