Could Never
I don’t have a father, that’s my big brother
We both never had a father but we both had a heartless mother
That nigga can never be my father
Many days, I didn’t have a meal, he didn’t even bother
I would rather watch the blood drain out his body than give that nigga a hug
You could never be my father, you shout at my heart with your neglect like a thug
You treat me as if I was your stepchild, never was I treated like a child
If I fight back and speak up, I’m ungrateful and Hostile
There are days that I have to miss class because I’m broke
That nigga told me to get a job like this is a damn Joke
I had to miss 1 year to help your mama because she caught a Stroke
And still, ya’ll treat me like burnt tar from a black smoke
That nigga is always on his period being ratchet
Slashing his words and insults through my skin like a Hatchet
Mein! Aren’t you tired of being a damn Fruit Cake?
When are you going to be a man? At least for my sister's sake.
Can’t you see that your mama is a snake
When you are not around she’s shady and Fake
Nigga, I was young but I was awake!
Y’all tried to take advance of me was a mistake
I will not put up with this bull, I’m not my mother
I used to have a heart but now it’s a damn rubber
That nigga can never be my father, that’s my big brother
My mother was my father
