Could I Be Yours

Could I be yours
Following stars drifting the distance ashore?
Could I be yours?

Would you be mine
Beyond the stars having a reason to shine?
Would you be mine?

Scattered bouquet, petals in the grass, you walked away.
I need you

stay

In two years and wildflowers we found each other in May,
And as I’d prayed,
You said to me we always were meant to be one that day.

Could I be wrong?
I still see stars and it is you all along.
Could I be wrong?
