Could Have Been

sitting back knowing what went
wrong,
knowing the past could have been
changed.
Just watched it all take its
turn.
There was a life that could've
been lived.
There was a family that could've
been.
Theres alot of things that could
be now.
But its not.
And life goes on day after day
little by little.
The wishing that things were
different now,
now just seem like shadows
in the haze.
So as we grow into the people
we are now,
so different from who we where than.
We now relieze that sometimes its
better now than its
ever been.
In one way or another the happiness
will begin again.
