Cosmos Umbrella
The picture was of a golden Cosmos flower taken from ground level up into the underside of the flower and the bright blue sky.
Cosmos Umbrella
This wee forest pixie
The kind most do not see
Stood there all scared and alone
At the edge of the clearing
Discovery fearing
She knew she had to get home
Now to cross open field
She needed a shield
To keep herself hidden from view
So a Cosmos umbrella
Of bright gold and yella
She felt would just have to do
And she hoped that that flower
In the heat of that hour
Would shade her so she wasn’t hot
And so grabbing a stem
And lifting her hem
The pixie took off at a trot
And once back at home
And no longer alone
She saved and then planted the seeds
So the next time she crossed
She would not feel as lost
As the Cosmos filled all of her needs
